818 Breaking Colbalt Glass Have a certiain 818 that I have been running for about 2 years now. In the last few months the colbalt glass has been breaking at about one a week. It never has done this before and nothing has changed about the bed or set up. Now, the bed has about 20,000 hours is my guess, and most of the glass is probably original. And I have been replacing it with old glass from a stored 818 for now (that is probably about the same age). Could it be that the glass it just at that point where it is so old and brittle it just starts breaking. I know this bed is putting out a little more than the other beds, but not enough to cause this and it always has been a hotter bed (meaning I run it at about 415 volts always and the transformer won't output any less on the lowest tap). Any ideas? Anyone else encounter this with an old 818? Strange part is I have two others running constantly that don't do this and one of them is probably about as old.???? -James __________________ Original Tantoday Class of 2000!
