I actually tried to make one... a prototype so to speak. But it was a failure. So much for radio shack led sensor! It picked up orange/read light fine.... but it read even higher to car headlights, etc.... which means the LCD reading was bogus.
Someday I might create a "real" 633nm filter over a GaAs photodiode if it looks like there's a demand out there. How many hours (or years) does Lumiere say their "lights" are good for before they age ?% and need replacement?
