But really, I just wanted to say, I too misunderstood the original post at first... thinking it said to size up your customer to decide what lotion to try to sell...
I learned the hard way to always start with the top. To be honest, the people that come in to our salon with the nicest clothes/cars/etc. aren't the ones that buy our $95 lotion. It's usually the people I think can't afford it. My bias has actually reversed and when I see the Mercedes or Lexus pull up, I think to myself "here comes a frickin cheapskate... might as well pull out the cheap s**t" Not that that is the right attitude to have either! Now I just have a different mindset to break out of! Anyway... Soo, Alan, gottatanfl, DIN, and the rest of you, I look forward to learning alot of great tips and info from you all!
