Yes they do, but I wouldn't. I recently recently received demographics for leases in two different plazas that are literally side-by-side in the same city. One said the 3 mile radius population was 107,000, the other said 82,000.
Run your own demographics that are based direct Census or Census Bureau adjustments, the US Census Bureau does not have a "dog in the fight", leasing agents do.
