As a former owner/operator of a sports bar & grill, the bar business in MD was less trouble. Unlike some states, there is no "liquor liability" in MD. Increasing the legal drinking age from 18 to 21 killed off a lot of businesses, but that was long before I got into the business. MADD was a minor pain in the ass.
