Re: Pimp my magic Well you read my mind.... I have some experience with LED lighting. I redid all the lighting in a new model pontiac firebird. You just need to know the number of LEDs and then determine the resistance needed. A cheap 12volt transformer can do the job nicely. LED lights have gotten soo bright, that if you bounce the light off some sort of reflector you will get the smooth look you want. I also experimented with luminescent tape. I think I spelled that close to correct. Limos use this often. It is very thin and extremely flexible. Only problem is that it isn't very bright. If your room is darker then it would work fine. This still needs a 12 volt system normally as its made for cars. Once I get done with the MUG replacement, I'll shop around. |
