Won't sell Luminious Luminous by Maharat (forgive the spelling please) has a primary ingredient of PETROLEUM (on the can it's referred to as petroleat or something like that... it's still petroleum.) Petroleum is the byproduct of the manufacturing of the crude oil process. It is known to strip the color off of the skin, it's the same product for all intents and purposes as mineral oil. WE DON'T EVER ALLOW OUR CUSTOMERS TO USE MINERAL OIL because it has other long term effects. Recently the American Medical Association offered their opinion that Mineral Oil should not be used internally because it lays on the intestinal tract and prevents absorption of food and nutrition (imagine mother's still putting baby oil on their baby's skin... and we know that babies put their body parts into their mouths....) Why would we want to sell anything from the salon that has mineral oil in it? Or petroleum/Vasoline? Vasoline sounds like gasoline? Not a mistake.... think gasoline whenever you hear the would vasoline.... which is nothing more than processed crude oil or petroleum. |
