Hi Sandi! Great questions! ok, first and foremost I like to point out that Brite White does not soften the enamal or harm the enamel in any way. What this does, is simply remove surface stains off of the teeth, bringing them back to their most natural white. People have all shades of white naturally, so the result will not be the same with each person. A general rule is to look at the whites of the eyes to see the approximate shade the teeth can be.
One session takes approximately 30-60 minutes. This is done in 5 minute phases. Before the first 5 minute phase, teeth are typed to distinguish what color and shade we're starting at, then between each 5 minute phase, the teeth are typed again. Generally, I'm noting that most people get the desired results in around the 35-45 minute range. This is of course dependent on whether or not they are coffee, tea, pop drinkers, or smokers. The stains can be removed, some just take closer to the 60 minute range.
We're really excited about this as it's done with a blue LED light, this is a warm light, but not hot, so no worries as to burning the gums, etc on the client. The mouthpiece is covered in a small plastic baggie and the activating gel is applied on the baggie. The mouthpiece is handed to the client and they place in their mouth to whiten. The most important thing in doing this, is to make sure the client is patting dry their teeth between each 5 minute session. The saliva on the teeth makes it virtually impossible for the gel to adhere to the teeth otherwise. This is why the mouthpiece is removed after each 5 minute phase to have the teeth redried, and the gel reapplied and started again.
This is incredibly easy to do in the salon, and employees can be trained incredibly quickly! We were excited to find a machine that first and foremost WORKED, and that was of ease to use, so we were making customers happy, making money, and all without adding a boatload of work to ourselves!
Most people generally see at least 6 shades of lightening in their one session. At the show I took one man from an 11 to a 2! He was thrilled to death! as was his wife, who walked past us several times, each time showing us his beautiful smile!! Another man went from a 14 (almost off the charts! ) to a 7, and that was only in 40 minutes as he was heading into a meeting. I whitened nonstop Saturday from 11-6 with every client leaving pleased. That spoke very highly for what we are doing.
Our show price is $5,500 which we are going to run through the end of October.
As far as twilight teeth, this is not a daily, weekly or even montly process. For most people this would be a yearly process at most. This also does not whiten only the fronts of your teeth, but also the back and sides and even Between the teeth, where we tend to miss even with the best of flossing. We do offer maintenance kits for customers to purchase. This way if say 4-6 months down the road, a heavy tea drinker or etc is noticing they are restaining their teeth, they can pop in the fitted tray to remove the new staining, therefor maintaining their whiteness for longer times between whitening for themselves.
