Re: Infrared Saunas I have done it both ways, Years ago, I put Infrared saunas in both my salons. Many people will try anything new you bring to the salon, so of course we did ok the first couple of months. After the initial trials we couldn't pay someone to go into the Sauna box. And we were only charging $10 to use it for 30 minutes. Ask the members here what they charge for an Infrared Body Wrap treatment. The answers will be anywhere from $90 for a single session to possibly in some area's as low as $40 to $50. The Infrared Body wraps target the heat to the area's the clients are trying to affect a change (reduction). The client is laying on a comfortable massage table, reading a magazine or watching a TV with a cool fan on the face totally relaxing while the Infrared heat is melting away the body fat. Spa Like It always goes back to "you get what you pay for". You buy an entry level tanning bed and you get $5 per session. You buy a high pressure tanning bed, you get $40 per session. I am not much of a gambler, but I would bet a lot that you would not find a single salon that is commanding $60 on the average for a session in a sauna box. Infrared Body Wraps are hot! As Din said, just do a keyword search and you'll see the hundreds and hundreds of salons that made the Infrared Body Wrap decision. __________________ But then, What do I know?
