Formostar Repairs The "left" arm pad is not heating. If I plug the "right" arm pad (that is working fine) into the same the "left" port it still works. Plug the "left" arm pad into the "right" port and it still does not work. I checked the wire connections on the cable at the plug in and they look okay. So I explained all this to Formostar and they said I just need to buy a replacement pad. So I have a arm pad on the way, for $650. I am going to try to figure out how to fix the bad pad, so I will now have a spare - instead of just disposing of it. Anyone ever torn one apart? I figure I will have to cut open the pad where the cable goes in and see if the connection is good. But then I will have to seal the pad back up. Is there a adhesive that works on silicone, or whatever these pads are made of? |
