As far as electrical requirements, make sure you have the right gauge wire going to the unit. I haven't set one up in a couple years, but I think it needs 4 or 6 gauge wire. Just consult with your electrician on that one.

Al's right; the original glass has impressioned lines in the glass. Its more blue than purple. A dead giveaway would be that the original glass has a white logo on each corner that says "Euroelektrica".

Since its a 2003 unit, i doubt you have the body blower by the feet. You should definitely call Tan Tech on that one and order one. They're pretty salty, but they make all the difference in the world when you're tanning in it. Or if you have room, you can save some money and put a table with a fan down by your feet. I ran a 2003 unit in a salon for almost a year (with original glass) - and it was way too hot. I could only get my tanning junkies to go into it. Once we upgraded to MUG6 glass, everyone could use it. Definitely do the upgrade.
