-- With proper cooling you will get 800-1,000 hrs off your lamps
-- 10 min. session means more sess. per day which means more $$
-- Install the bed in about 2 hours
-- Clean and relamp in 30 minutes
-- No cobalts to break
-- Single metalic filter (No cobalts)
-- Parabolic Reflectors
-- 70 amp single phase mattress, 100 amp single phase 360
-- 500W lamp + Reflectors and Single Filters means higher output and less heat
-- No computer or circuit boards (simple to install and work on)
-- All powder coated steel, Aluminum and Stainless Steel
-- No lift motors to replace, No circuit boards to replace, No touch pads to replace
-- Simple design and incredible results these are the things I look for in a bed
I've got to agree with you, from an installers point of view in regards to setup and maintenance... the Magic CAN take forever to install. Cleaning filter glasses and relamping also takes a few hours (at least). It's a good unit to tan in... but it's not my favorite unit on the market either. From a salon owner's point of view, it definitely has its benefits b/c of longer lamp life. Ask Nature Boy, he's posted that he gets over 1,200 hours on his lamps. As far as just tanning, I'd prefer the SATURN . Call me bias, b/c I am.
