For low pressure lamps I have stuck with Phillips for a few years now. I like them much better then Light Source which I used for 7 years prior. Better output and lamp life. LS really has some bad batches of lamps.

I also throw in a few Hereaus in the 160W LP lamps which are also very good.

As far as HP Phillips is not the best. Still like Hereaus the best for my needs. Keep in mind that no ONE Company has the best HP lamp for every level of lamp. Hereaus & Supra seem to the most
complete lines as far as HP lamps when it comes to output.

I agree, Phillips LP lamps sucks when it comes to getting them started with elec starters. Am I the only one that thinks elec starters are OVER RATED?
