Re: Please welcome Arbonne rep Kathe Ray as a new sponsor Kathe- I am opening up a new tanning salon and spa this weekend (we have been working on it since October!). It is a full service tanning salon and day spa featuring ARBONNE. The entire salon is full of natural elements, and the whole front area has the entire Arbonne product line stocked on the shelves. Our esthetician does a wide variety of facials, body treatments, cellulite treatments and massage using only the Arbonne products...I have people calling a few times a day asking "when are you opening? I want to come in and buy Arbonne!", I have sold $800 worth of Arbonne the past week just from people walking by asking when I am opening etc, and buying it right then and there! I moved down here in Florida from Ohio 2 years ago and I am only 20 years old...decided to open a tanning salon/spa and the Arbonne thing just kinda happened since I have been using all the products for 8 years now (my mom got me hooked-she was a consultant). I have signed up a few people and it looks like this is really taking off... I have having some issues though, many of my "upline" has been telling me to get rid of the Arbonne on the shelves and just sign people up like crazy and ignore the "retail" part of it...but that is 80% of the business here...that's the whole point of our spa is that we are a "Arbonne Spa" as people have been calling it. I understand the network marketing aspect of this, but I also see many clients excited about the fact that they can walk in and I always have product on the shelves. We even have a full cosmetic counter with EVERY PRODUCT to test and buy, and a licensed make up artisit on staff who does lessons, group makeover events, and special occasion make up application...we are in a growing area by 2 colleges and some high schools...only 2 salons in this area as well. What is your advice on selling/marketing the product in your tanning salon and do you agree I should take the product "off the shelves"?? Sincerely, Mandy Boggs |
