Dear Tan Today Members,

As promised, we wanted to inform you of some new and exciting updates and additions to the site. First and foremost, we remain committed to keeping TanToday a resource for you—the salon operators and members of the indoor tanning industry.

Over the next few weeks you will notice some subtle changes to the site in order to increase traffic, stimulate new participation and provide better resources for those using TanToday.

A number of forums will be merged into one forum to generate more traffic. If you examine each forum and the traffic based on the number of threads and responses, some don’t warrant their own forum and would be better merged into one general forum.

For example, the SunTouch forum will be merged with the Computer/Software forum. Because of the crossover topic, it makes sense to merge these two into one general forum. All discussions related to education and training will now be merged into one forum—Education & Training. A new Industry Media forum will combine all the trade publications as well as any industry events into one area. Again, this will create more traffic and foster more communication and debate.

These are just a few action items that will be implemented over the next few weeks. Future enhancements will include updates to the registration process and the addition of new forums. We’ll be adding polls and demonstrations as well. As always, thank you for your being a member of the TanToday family.
