When it is slow get on the phone and call tanners you have not seen for a while or maybe still have some tans or points they have not used. You can just leave a message saying, that you have not seen them in a while and the still have some unused tanning and you know how much they enjoy tanning and invite them in to tan. You would be surprised how effective this can be. Plus it is a much more productive way to spend slow times. This should also be a part of all of your employees job. Maybe have each employee spend a designated amount of time each week with this task. The tanners will appreciate the call, you are not trying to sell them anything you are just getting them back on the tanning routine that they enjoy. Always be proactive and have an impact on business. 10 calls, 1 person comes in, SUCCESS! Remember you can't eat an elephant in one bite but you can eat an elephant one bite at a time.
