Well, I'm back at it again. This time it's not soo much about adding features to the bed. It's about hiding the damage I caused. I put a nice big dent in the top front column when the eurowalls came toppling over during a remodel. I have a plan to fix this that should also work at adding accent lighting. pictures will come when kathe sends them to me, her picture should show the dent.

My g/fs father is the metal shop instructror at the local HS. I plan on having him make a hood out of stainless steel, it will attache onto the front of the claw and over hang slightly on the column. I'd like to have him cut out Magic into the front so I can do a backlight look almost like the new ones have. Since this will be overhangnig, I'll be able to hid a neon or LED light bar to focus light onto the bed itself.

This I'm going to try and make some cardboard templates today for him to get started. If this turns out nicely, I might have him make a few of them up for anyone that would want to cover the costs.
