I believe, if I'm correct, that regardless of the lamps output, it will only put out what's rated on the ballasts.

i.e. if the ballast is only 100w and the lamp is 120 or 160, the lamp will only put 100w due to the power pumped out through the ballasting.

So, as long as all the circuitry's good and it's wired correctly there shouldn't be a problem
