Re: going to buy a distressed salon You will buy this dump, pour money into it, realize there is little income, and then become a slave to it... working it every hour, pinching pennies trying to make the income look decent, and hoping upon hope that *this year* will show a profit, that *this year* a dummy with stars in his eyes will walk in and say "I'll buy it!" that *this year* everything will turn around.... 1. there is no profit, so who you gonna flip it to? 2. who buys a business that has been failing for almost 10 years, with one owner after another, a business that the owners walked away from, not just once but several times?? Any potential buy you find will see that and be wary (I'd hope) (tho I cannot see why you aren't) 3. "that gives you cancer!" The industry is in a major slump. You are dreaming that you will somehow, after all these years, after all these failed owners, after all the media mudslinging, after all the economic forecasts, be able to make this place profitable enough to resell it, when every indicator is saying the opposite. WaKE THE F^CK UP. PS Brian O is a great man, and women love him. |
