Steve, you are not giving McNabb's stint on BNN enough credit. First I think JCTA should be applauded for even getting that far, and surely you must realise that time is a limiting factor with TV interviews.
Escapism and relaxation are all very well but they haven't driven the masses to tanning salons and never will. To talk about these things will just ensure that no other TV interviews will ever be given. The media want controversy, they want a fight, not escapism and relaxation who cares about that.
What will drive the masses to tanning salons is vitamin D production from tanning beds. We should be shouting it from the highest hill each and every day. When there is enough acceptance by the masses that vitamin D is produced by tanning beds and that tanning in a sunbed without burning is a sensible way to obtain vitamin D, then, and only them, will escapism and relaxation also help increase tanners.
Also, how many beds in Canada produce UVB ?
