I know this was an old post, but thought I would respond.
I use interlectric 100w 6.5's in my sunstar beds. start them out at a lower time & work their way up to the 20 min so not to burn. My clients are tan! Even the pale people get color. I changed my Starpower 548 from 100w to 160w by changing ballasts(small fortune, but worth it & less than buying a new bed). I encourage upgrading for more umph to their tans in either my stand up(sundome) or turbo(starpower) & of course, lotion, lotion, lotion(although some think they know it all).
