The comm chip is what needs to be replaced for the timers that don't respond and the timer that doesn't light up, well that one will need to be replaced. For the timers that do light up but don't respond, you can recycle power to them and run them stand alone and just set them in the rooms. At least they will work until you get chips but the one that is out will be down until you get the new timer.
