For the most part Republicans believe that we can make decisions that effect us on our own. It is the Democrats that believe that they know best and they need to protect you from yourself.

If you notice, it is usually a Democrat that sponsors anti tanning legislation.

As far as I know McCain has never introduced any legislation about tanning and if he were to become President, I think he will have more important things to worry about.
