Re: Auvl i feel lamps are so important but hard to figure out. as most do, i need lamps that deliver quality tans for a decent amount of hours at a decent price point. of course, my definition of decent may be different than someone else's definition. i am not rich and cannot waste time. i don't have time or money to spend on testing several different lamps just to find out if they meet my specs. doing this would require me to take money out of my pocket to try out lamps for several hours before i would even know if they are worth it or not. and what if they are not. i just lost time, money and clients. what is really the best way to determine what lamps are right for a particular unit? sales guys are bais and there are so many variables to consider (how long they tan people until they are useless, if they will tan people, unit they are used in, starters used, maintenance of bed, temperature of salon, uva%, uvb%, what kind of color will they deliver, blah, blah, blah). is there a really good lamp guide that explains the technology? then maybe i can look at published specs and make my own determination? urgh! i need to rest. |
