It isn't the lobbyist's job to question anyone. Their job is to make sure the legislators don't introduce or vote for laws that would hurt the industry.

There will always be someone looking to blame or profit from. We must be vigilant and in touch with our state legislators and state indoor tanning salon organizations.

Here in Florida we have the Florida Indoor Tanning Salon Owners organization as our watchdog group. We have a sizeable war chest to hire a lobbyist when we need to. We seldom need to as we attend the Florida Department of Health's Rules and Regulations board meetings and have a good relationship with the board members. We have much input in any changes that are considered.
