Attorney and I never do anything without his consultation, so I asure you that my manual has been read for legal concerns. You are correct that state employment laws are different from state to state and that in some states certain policies must be edited and adjusted for personal salon needs based on local state laws... that is why I am not copyrighting this manual and selling it to salon owners around the country... instead I am giving it freely with no copyright ... and full rights to edit and customize this manual to meet your salon's needs in your state.
