What a cool idea. Guy starting it up here. Too bad it's so expensive.

We've had those in my area for years now, I think they're irritating. (lol)

Pretty sure I've only seen national campaigns on them, prob, like you said because they're so pricy....

Why couldn't you get a used cube van and wrap the sides?

I guess you could. But then you need someone to drive it around, and pay for gas.

Easier to wrap your own vehicle.

We have done things like that and have to say it works. Seeing that no other tanning salon do it, people think you are the place to go to. We couple it with tv, door drops, and direct mail to start the busy season for us.

Sometimes big money brings big returns and the cost was $3500 for a month for 1 truck to drive around.

It drives for 5 hours and you can choose its route. They drove around the local schools when school was let out and then it sat on the highway during rush hour.

Yes. It drives from 11am to 5pm during the week. I don't think you can choose the route though.

I might be able to talk him into a half price deal if I am the first customer on the big side.

But I am probably just seeing stars in my eyes with busy season money going in the bank.

The company I went with let me choose my route, it just depends on who is running it. The company I was with is based out of Atlanta.

It works well with additional media, not the best if you are not going to run a commercial or constant dm. It's more subliminal, slower on return. It's only good if you're building brand awareness and not looking for instant results.

It costs about $2500-$3000 to wrap your entire car or truck PERMANENTLY.....this will give you advertising on the route you take TO THE SALONS....

i think that's a smarter idea instead of doing it 1 time....you have it forever for the same price as 1 month.

I agree but if you don't want your car wraped this is also good. Also you can pay other people to wrap there cars we were going to do that, The program comes to about $500 per car month. if you wanted to spread out the $3k.

Also only good cars look good wraped, mainly suv's and new bugs.

Not everyone wants to drive around in a billboard... park a billboard in front of their house, drive their kids to school in a billboard, go to dinner at a nice restaurant in a billboard.... Wouldn't you feel like a complete tool handing the keys to your billboard to a valet?!?!?!

now all those places that you think you are a tool......are there people there? Are you advertising to them? Are they seeing your car?

Isn't that the point of advertising your business? Or are you ashamed? FAKEM ALL what they think....as long as they see the advertisement.....that's all that matters to me.

Whu?

I guess I get what you're saying but personally I don't want to be marketing 24-7, I want to enjoy my life, "the good life." I want people to stare at me because I'm so goddam sexy.

Wrap your hooters with your logo and a special. People will notice I'm sure. And if you have DD's, you can advertise two specials.
