| I might as well post it. Canada day being a Sunday this year, what are your plans for business hours? We are closing Sunday, but normal hours on Monday. Much will be closed on Monday, so I think it will be a busy day. But Sunday, people are busy doing family stuff along with Canada day. Thoughts? |

Why not have a long weekend to ourselves too. We are not a necessity like a grocery or variety store....so why not close for 2 days. during the summer holidays, i close for 2 days.....during the season i close just the day of. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. I choose Sunday to be closed so Monday, pay is regular. (Because I am always open 7 days) But if you were normally open Monday to Saturday, Monday would have to be your stat and you would have to pay 1.5 (unless you closed on Monday) time. I checked into it. | |

Canada Day is one of eight public holidays under Ontario’s Employment Standards Act, 2000. Canada Day is usually on July 1, but if July 1 falls on a Sunday, as it does this year, Canada Day is July 2 as stipulated by the federal Holidays Act.
