| Hey Salon owners, and non-bias distributors! Just thought I would ask about what people's thoughts are on the below mentioned tanning beds: I have the Royal Sun 46/06 (46 lamp 6 facial beds), and intrested in shaking things up with replacing them with the Ergoline 600 Affinity's which is also a 46/06..... Does anyone know which one truely tans better? Not to interested in the appearance of the bed. The Ergolines look sweet and the royal suns are basic and simple, but in the end I know the Royal Suns tan the hell out of you! Looks are decieving! But i know what my clients expect from tanning in a Royal Sun! P.S Not looking for a sales pitch....thanks in advance. |

Royal Sun performance 8 out of 10, looks 7 out of 10 Ergoline performance 7 out of 10, looks 9 out of 10 what will make you more money? would your customers pay more for looks? it's all about making noney |

Tanning is an image/vanity business and to say that the look of the bed is not an important consideration is wrong. It's like taking CT Seven lotion and putting it in one of Greg's PL bottles and expecting to get $100+ for the product. It's the same lotion, tans you the same, but the packaging does not warrant a $100 price. Same applies to beds. That being said, in some markets spending an extra $10,000 on a bed might not get you the extra couple of dollars per session so that's got to be a consideration. |

They will consist of various lamps which should be alot more effective than the spaghetti crap(b-busters) that ergo offers up. Again looks versus performance it all depends on your market as to which one gives you more bang for your buck! |

Can't lamp manufacturers make 16" lamps that are 160W or something and put like 3 or 4 across the bed for shoulder tanners? Bed manuf. will then just have to put lamp holders for them and that's it. Dress it up a bit. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. Sought of like Sontegra, though they have recently began to change 'looks', they have always been great performers, reliable etc.. However, it is all about marketing. And with that, unfortuately means appearance. IMO, RS is a winner in performace and reliability, they need to come out of the '80's motiff. What is their web-site (NO SPAM HERE) |

There will be some style changes and added features that should be available by the trade show. Unfortunately there website does not reflect this yet. |
