Only thing it is bad for is guys selling equipment/manufacturing from Canada to the US.

Just like the finance minister said: The strong dollar is a reflection of our strong economy. Stop whinning and invest in new equipment for manufacturing (from the US) to attract more customers and grow your business.

I agree...but do it NEXT WEEK...they estimate the dollar to climb over the USD and be at $1.03-$1.05.

As far as buying brand new cars, did you know that Canada will not let you import a brand new one? you have to purchase a used one. as far as how old, I don't remember. Something I learned when importing Robs blazer.

It was being reported on the news here that there are thousands of Canadians crossing the borders and bringing back brand new cars across the border when the dollar hit par. They were saying Buffalo was swarmed like bees on a chocolate covered butt..... You sure about that????

Now maybe our lotion will go down too. And books and magazines. I think I'm dreaming though.

The loons (N.Am.) or divers (UK/Ireland) are a group of aquatic birds found in many parts of North America and northern Europe. A loon is the size of a large duck or small goose, which it somewhat resembles in shape when swimming.
The plumage is largely black-and-white, with grey on the head and neck in some species, and a white belly, and all species have a spear-shaped bill. All living species of loons are members of one genus (Gavia[1] in a family (Gaviidae), and order (Gaviiformes) all of their own.
The European name "diver" comes from the bird's habit of catching fish by swimming calmly along the surface and then abruptly plunging into the water. The North American name loon comes from the bird's haunting, yodeling cry.

At least I can tell a dollar from a $20 or a $100. Yours looks all the same.

It is at now about 101.5!!

Soon we will be buying beds for cheaper than list price in the US. Tanning salons in Canada for those that know actually might have more of a chance now.
