| We just got hit again. Place calls and asks employee her name, what type of terminal we have ect, ect. The number on call display(which you call back and just keeps ringing) is: 1-514-920-0792 it reverses to Montreal. Where these scams usually originate from. Some have been busted, but this one is still going. Just so everyone knows this is happening still. I actually think this is the same company that sent me a box a few years ago that I called and said either take it back or I put it in the garbage. Then send some no-name guy in a truck to drop in inside your door or get the business next door to sign and accept it for you. I did read on a website recently though that if they send it without authorization and no signature, by law, you can keep it as a gift. Not sure if this is true. |

I told them to F*ck OFF and don't call here anymore and that I know they are a scam. I then blocked the number on my selective call reject on my line. |

They will read over a bunch of itmes that have been marked down half price and ask the employee if they are able to sign for it when it comes in. The next day the company will get a different person the double confirm the order and then they will ship it off. Luckily we caught it before this could happen. |

I let her babble and then said, "Uhhhh I just go to Staples." __________________ ************************************************** ***************** Grammar Tip of the Year - Apostrophes are for condensing and belonging...NOT pluralizing. ![]() SandiGirl ~ Changing tanning forums one apostrophe at a time. |

They call to "confirm the model of your Interac" machine and a few days later a box of very expensive Interac paper shows up. One time I sent them a letter telling them to come pick it up(which they never did) and the second time I just kept throwing out the threatening invoices until they stopped coming. |
