| All Star Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Canada Posts: 79 | Re: Family Day I find this very confusing. Stores in Toronto are exempt, but the rest of the province is not? The drug stores & some grocery stores here are open with shortened hours, others are closed completely. It seems to not have any rhyme nor reason. I'd prefer to open, but according the the retail sales act I have to close. Monday is usually our busiest day. Does anybody understand why the drug stores & grocery stores can open? I think Sask. has this same holiday... how do salon owners there handle it? |
