As soon as they get out of the car you think, "man great, here they come".

I just had to deal with arguably the two customers i can't stand more than any other customers. You know the ones that were tanning somewhere else in the greatest bed in the universe for 30 minutes using the strongest tingle, & were blacker than the ace of spades?!?!

This vistit they were telling me about some tanning salon in buffalo that opened & has 3 beds that the owner paid $120,000 a piece for.

haha yep those folks must be from my salon.. i have those 130 k beds and the best tingle in the business and they can go as long as they want and im ope 24 HOURS A DAY! I TANN EM RIGHT! so next time be like "oh you went to splash tan" lol

I also enjoy having those first time customers who say the same thing...20 minutes in your strongest bed... but then they go on to say that they know the same as me or my employee since they worked at a tanning salon for years, and they always went in their starship for 20 minutes...and when the boss wasnt around they would even authorize it for 30 minutes...same for their "power bed" they think it was called a Giant Sun....

Then I give in, put them in my Royal Sun 32 lamp 100w SUPER DUPER KILLER OUT OF THIS WORLD bed for 15 minutes since they tanned a week ago for 20 minutes down the street, and they come out saying how super intense my bed was....

haha yeah that's another beauty line to hear. Then they go on to tell you how they had a bed with no UVB

There is a laundromat with a bed and a booth in our town. It is the cheapest around, but it is also the dirtiest and most sketchy...

The bulbs aren't changed frequently enough and people are always telling me how they went there for 20 sessions, all at the max time and then want to use my machines for the max time as well. Fun times

Oh how I love the 'know-it-all' clients. The one that's taken the cake recently tanned first thing in the morning once, then came in the next time and asked for us to warm the bed for her, because she tanned in a cold bed and didn't get proper results...
When my co-manager told her that it shouldn't make a difference she said "I know what 15 minutes in a bed should do to me"

Now everytime she books an appointment she asks if it's been used first, and if not, can we warm it.

Simple LOGIC should tell her that HEAT has NOTHING to do with tanning...do you get a tan when your AC goes and your apartment is hot? Do people not get sunburnt when skiing on icy mountaintops?

*shakes head* we just tell her it's been used, even if it hasn't. Of course she never knows the difference.
