Has anyone used Silver Solarium? What are your thoughts?

We've been using CanTan but delivery time is killing us...

I've used them in the past. They are good. Quick delivery.

Sunwest was okay too with quick delivery.

Why on earth would you use someone at the total opposite end of the country? Is it just a fluke that I live here where 2 disties are...or aren't there plenty more closer? I think there's one in NB too.

What difference does it make? The lotions come at the same time...next day delivery. I don't drive to the disty and place my orders or pick up my lotions. They are shipped to me next day. So who cares if it comes from india.

I order from whoever gives the best price break....

But you don't need to come here to find what disties are out there. Wouldn't that have come up way before opening? Yellow pages.

True. There are some listed in my YellowPages.
-One (local) is exclusively Fiji products
-One (somewhat local) does not have greatest prices and doesn't stock most of the brands (but does have great delivery time if items are in stock.)
-One did not respond to my catalog request until THIS year.
-The last two were companies I used... Uvalux (who doesn't carry all the lotions I want) and the other was CanTan.

Both Uvalux and CanTan were adequate... now, not so much.

I get next day if my order is in before 1pm, otherwise it shows up the day after...but I'm in their backyard. Not sure what average is and if everyone matches the other disties. Just call and ask each one what they're willing to give you.

How long are you waiting? Have you expressed your concerns to them? From my understanding it depends what time of day you order, because if they have already had the courier pick up for the day you are going to have to wait an extra day..

You need to have open communication with them (any distributor) to ensure that they are able to meet you needs and establish a business realationship. It seems like you bounce around and never express your concerns. As you would hope your customer would so that you might be able to correct the situation

Call them up and talk to them. Discount's for salons are all dependant on the volumes you are ordering etc... Different for everyone

She's in NS, but should still get in within 3 days. If the order is in before 1pm we get in next day, but you and I are in their neck of the woods.

We're typically waiting eight days (including a Saturday & Sunday.)

i've received next day from Sunwest (across the country). Remember, they are 3 hours behind me. So if i place my order by fax first thing when i come in...they are still in their beds. When they come in, my order is waiting for them. Shipped out same morning their time, i get it afternoon next day.

I would fax it to them always before they got there so it would get out first thing.

As mentioned above, your discounts are all relative to your volume, how long you've been their customer, how frequent you order.

I would place $500+ orders every other day, sometimes $1,000 orders every 3 days with them. That's for 1 of our locations, double that now cuz we were ordering for 2 locations....

If you place $200 orders once every 2 weeks, don't expect special treatment. That's liike someone coming in and using your base bed for $6.00 once every 3 weeks and asking for a discount....would you give it to them?

I don't think it goes by volume as much as trying to get you to stay with them. I got a better discount than my friend who bought beds from them.
