Default Fire code and labelling regualtions?

Hey guy's I'm opening up a salon in Canada, I've got a question for Canadian salon owners. Especially ones who have bought their beds from the US. Is there anything that we need to add to the beds to make them "legal" in Canada? I've read something that seems to imply that we need a label attached to each bed and have clear warnings in both English/French. Here is the link for it: Page 11 - Guidelines for Tanning Salon Owners, Operators and Users
They even have some samples on the site. Would you just print these off and put them on there? It also says it is illegal to import equipment not approved for use in Canada. I'm assuming that all beds made by the big manufacturere's are approved here, correct? Is there any that you know that are NOT approved?

Also, is there any specific building or fire code improvements you need to do when you're building out in your area? Any help would be apprecitaed. I just don't want to build my whole salon and then have to tear it down and start over again because of some dumb technicality. Thanks.

Your contractor/electricians should know about the NB building code.Importing beds from the US is no problem, customs will just want to collect $$$, gst ect. They don't care about labels.CSA lablels may be looked at by an electrical inspector. So far no one I know has had to show those french/english stickers on the gov't web site.It is best to have them around just in case...but so far it has been no problem.Last thing you want to do is phone the gov't and ask them.

1 waste of time, you most likely will be shuffeled around and wind up with the wrong info.

2 you will be on the radar.
