OCX files are an object linking and embedding control file. They handle things like window resizing and scrollbars in applications. A more popular term for OCX nowdays is ActiveX control.
Microsoft Access uses a lot of OCX controls. Not sure if Helios is a glorified, prettied up, Access file. Files can corrupt in Windows from the recent installation of software into the computer, from removing software incorrectly, or by messing with registry settings. You are better off calling Helios and seeing if they can walk you through finding the problem. An advanced software tech can probably find their way through the problem, but I wouldn't advise you going in and messing with other files or the registry trying to figure it out. |

Thanks to both of you for replying. I had been uninstalling some old programs that I no longer use. I did a system restore and after that Helios started up. Still not exactly sure what I did to cause the problem but its working now.
