Just thought I'd post a short message about Helios Support. I've been a salon consultant - with a specialization in Helios - since 1989, so I very seldom need and/or use Helios' Tech Support. Maybe twice a year.
Anyway, I was at a client site today replacing a faulty Helios workstation. They could not locate their Helios 7 CD. I called Helios to ask about a V7 download. The call was answered within seconds and my issue was addressed and solved in less than 5 minutes. There's a lot of Helios bashing on this site - some deserved (usually for issues long in the past). However, based on 20+ years experience dealing with the product and the company, the HUGE majority of what I see/hear out here is vastly overstated. Once again, no big revelation here, just a comment about support that was (and usually is) timely, courteous and knowledgeable. Might as well acknowledge the postive and much as the negative. John he was about to launch a new software. Not anymore. It has been sold. I think. I just know after Monday November 9, 2009 if you did not have it you could no longer get it. My guess is it was taken over by some large franchise. I am not sure of anything here but I know Tony seemed happy.

That is great to hear. I called Sunlync all day yesterday and finally left a message with their tech support (was not calling tech support) late yesterday. I had called all departments and no one answered. Finally this morning I got a call back. Was told she did not work everyday. I was trying to call their billing department.

I think Helios has wonderful customer service skills & will help you figure out the problems in a timely matter. The only thing is that I just wish they would work out more of the little kinks that can make training difficult & confusing
