I can't imagine selling/buying this without FDA approval since hair removal/reduction is subject to FDA review before released to the public. Ok, no spikes - that's great. Now talk to us about efficacy of this device. |

That class is determined on the strength of the laser. Our laser is as strong as a type two but we have devoloped (Company Secret) Pat. Pending 21 CFT-862-892reg. the ability to control the light wavelength from 530-980 nm. This process will destroy the hair follicle root and not allow the hair to ever grow again. And be listed as a type one laser. |

There is NOTHING short of electrolysis (painful & time consuming) that can claim to permanently rid a person of hair. Even the laser processes cannot claim this according to FTC and FDA. The words that they must use are 'Permanent Hair Reduction'. This is due to the fact that even after a series of 3-6 laser treatments, some of the hair can grow back after a year or so. It grows back much finer and thinner but more times than not, does slightly grow back. Are you making the claim 'guaranteed to eliminate hair permanantly'? Like I said, this is extemely interesting to me and many others, I'm sure. But with this type of stuff you're not playing with toys so all bases have to be covered 100% honestly and legitamately. |

For the majority of people that have been using this machine in Europe, there has not been any cases of hair regrowth. The machine is called CMP, permanent hair removal. Lets just say that you have a client that is taking testosterone replacement or anything similar to that, he of course will have hair regrowth, because as we all know, that encourages hair growth. There are also other pharmaceuticals on the market that cause hair regrowth. As for the laser question, our system does not have a "peak".Therefore, with a laser, such as electrlosys, it is painful because it is not a constant light, it is short intermittent rays with a peak in the pulse and that peak causes the pain. With our system, it is a constant pulse of light with no painful peak. There is only a light tingle to the skin that the customer feels. |

It may take years though. The benefit is that this machine is so much less expensive than the type 2 laser, so your customers can get it done evry 2 or 3 years and still not have the expense of the other systems. Also, with our machine, it is a constant light, not intermittent light. Therefore it isnt painful. There is no spike in the pulse, thats what makes electrolysis painful, the spike. Remember, just like with tanning, every person has different skin types. Some people will notice longer lasting results than others. |

I have just been very busy the past couple of days. The more questions you have the better the opportunity to prove our system works. However I am relying on information supplied to me from Europe. I will post the abstract within the next 24 hrs. |

| Rookie Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 2 | I just had IPL done this past weekend and the big worry was that I had no tan. Does this system react badly to a tan? Also they said that I could not tan for 1 month after the treatment because of hyperpigmentation. Another issue is that I have to have 3 treatments because of the growth patterns of the hair. How many for your system? |
