Default Spa Robes Questions, Please advise

I am moving towards becoming a DaySpa.

We are having clients wear Robes as they move from room to room for different treatments.

My questions:

Does anyone have a source they recommend to purchase robes for a Salon?

Do you salons/ spas that use robes: wash them between each client? Or do you Dry clean them? Or do you sanitize and Dry them to kill any germs?

My clientele is not Moviestars. Most of my clients have never been in a sauna or spa, so I am not looking for the highend Cashmere Robes. Something that looks nice with durability to be washed will be sufficient.

Any ideas, comments, suggestions will be most appreciated.

Thank You
Ed

Thank You,

I tried the website it opens for some real estate firm in the UK.

What I am really trying to learn is how do the SPAS deal with their robes? Is their a sanitizer solution to use in a dryer? Or do you just wash them?

Any help in this area will be most appreciated.

Thank You

I dont see why you cant just wash them normally. Your undies dont need a special detergent when washing them do they? Besides, the towels might go in places that the robes never do so.....

It's usually the towels fault though......if the towel is high, it does things of it's own.

I bought spa robes from boss towels. They are really nice.

We use them a lot. They work great for the client who is tanning, then spray tanning, they don't have to get all dressed again. We also offer spa services so they are used for that, too.

We wash them with our white towels, use laundry detergent and bleach to keep them nice and white.

There are many wonderful Robe companies like Chadsworth & Haig, The Robe Works. You will want to select a robe that is durable, do not choose the chenille as they will get holes. Of course you will want to launder them between guests. It is important to have them clean and sanitized for each guest. This is why it is important that they are durable. Wash & Dry like you would do your laundry. Follow the instructions on the label. Also when choosing them, look for one that will still look good if you do not iron it. Other wise it looks pretty tacky.

CTS has robes in different styles and weights at a great sale price about every three months.

I have spa as well. We have thin robes I ordered them from the same place I get my towels from. We wash them the same way we wash our towels. I can dig up the #, but I am in Canada I don't think that would help U.

We get ours there as well. As stated above, just get white and wash with the sheets/towels using bleach.
