Formostar has a longer history. The Thermojet looks prettier. Both are priced about the same. I decided on the Formostar because I found more feedback on it. I only heard positive feedback on the Formostar. I only heard positive things about the Thermojet too, but there was by far more people who had Formostars. So, based on what I determine as a better track record, I went with the Formostar.

Oh, and the fact Din found me a great deal on a used Formostar was a factor too. And probably the main reason we have been successful with the Formostar from the first day we put in our salon is due to the marketing material we purchased from Din's marketing company, Chronos.

I'd advise anyone to consult with Din on his marketing program he can provide for the Formostar, or Thermojet. It was the best $$$ I've spent in a long time.

Where is the best place to buy the Formostar? The direct website? And also is the best price 9000.00 or can I do better? Also does anyone know if the marketing material can come without the words "body wrap" on them. My state is anal about that stuff.

Search the classified sections of this site and other tanning forums site for used Formostar. Also, just do a Google search for "formostar used", or any search engine. Around $9k new is what a new one costed last year, when I was looking. Always ask for a lower price, even when they say they can't reduce it. Keep asking, asking...

Well, of course. But both Formostar and Thermojet were pretty firm on their initial asking price. More so than most vendors. It took some effort on my part, but they eventually reduced the price on the new units.

Offduty, PM me. I know of about 3 in Utah that are for sale. Does not matter if it says wrap or not if you wrap the pads around the person it is falls under the state licensing division. I have 3 friends that are ready to get out of it all together as none profitable at this point due to rules, extra employees, Day Spas calling you into the State etc.
Contact me for info.

Also, if you get one make sure you sell the Formostar Gel in bottles and packets. This is a must for all clients to have and use. We sell the big bottles at $119.00 and packets at $10.00 but most buy the bottles. Purchase info is on another trend. You have to squeeze every dime out you can of Infrared Clients!

Yes our clients are happy and we have quite a few who are on their 5th and 6th packages.

The nice thing about Formostar is the fact that they are dressed and in sweats during the session. We don't have to apply anything except the wraps over their clothing.

We are getting good results and the customers are happy so we are happy.

I do recommend that anyone doing it for weight or inch loss or even cellulite go on the fiber shake though because that is only going to help.

They are feeling great and they have lost inches so they are in smaller sizes. Many of them are experiencing great pain relief. One client loves the fact she can go up and down stairs at work now without her knees hurting at all.

One lady who just renewed her package for the third time on Tuesday said that she hasn't felt this good in 20 years. She feels much more energy through her day.

It's really different with everyone. I really preach the detoxification part of it. I think it is so huge to get those toxins out.

Oh! And most of the women notice a big change in their skin. They are losing cellulite and the texture of their skin is so nice. You can tell it just seems cleaner and healthier.

This is not like other body wraps. This is infrared heat. This burns calories. Once a calorie is burned, it is gone. Burn enough calories (3500) and you are down a pound. It is simple mathematics. I know that when I do 3 wraps per week and do not change one other thing in my diet or exercise then I should lose about 1 pound. I have proven this.

Or I can eat an extra 3500 calories without gaining a pound.

I tell people the facts about calories and pounds. How many pounds do they want to lose? Then they need "X" body wraps and keep an eye out that they don't eat them right back by eating more.

Again, I work with them for an all around program. I encourage at least 3 - 30 minute walking work outs, eating healthy meals and adding fiber to their diet. That way they will see more than 1 pound per 3 infrared sessions. They should see approximately 3 pounds per week following my example.

Again, remember that infrared wraps are not like those slenderize things. Those are hokey and do not burn actual calories.
