| What, me worry? Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mad Magazine Posts: 210 | Bottle cost is $39 each retail $119.00, easy sell. Our beds are twin size and up against the wall. We lay the two large pads on the bed for upper and middle sections. The arms, leg pads are laid down on our shelf. I have seen towel racks that some have used to throw the pads on when cleaning the bed. The girls wrap the upper body first, then the client lifts one leg, wrap, then the other then wrap it, then the arms or if they don't want the arms the lower legs, ankles elbows, or we lay the pads flat for neck, shoulder, even the head if they get Headaches often. This is easy to do and only takes a minute or so. All the salons I have seen this in, none have wrap from both sides of the bed. You do not have to wrap it tight for it to work. We flew in the trainer from Formostar to train our staff. (this cost me well over $1,300 to do but worth it to me) She said that the infrared light will penetrate regardless if the pads are tight or loose. Infrared light is the same as in a remote control for say a TV. The light and heat will penetrate the same. Some clients like it tight others like it looser. We have had clients get burned by doing it too tight so be careful and have them call you in if they feel they are getting hot in a spot. At that point unwrap that area, rewrap with a towel or the cold part of the pad. |
