I need to cover the chair/table with a sheet? or what? I assume i need towels to use inside the pads, how many? what size? Customer needs towells for afterwards? how many? what size? need a sheet or blanket to cover customer during session? which one is better? A big jar to collect money in$$$$ what else? |

Sites like Craigs list or other local online Classified ads. Plenty of Families selling them was their parents or Grandparents pass away. We have two, clients love them. Wider, adjustable head and feet one even has vibration (women love that one for some reason) All remote control. Twin size fitted sheets, Thermal Blankets. Go to Jersey Towel.com for those, best prices. Nice pillow (we use foam) pillow proctector that can be cleaned (Walmart) Pillow case. Also need plastic cover for Twin mat cover. Get a TV with built in DVD Player. Buy Season boxed sets of say: "The Office" "Desperate Housewifes" or other such season shows. They can go through a disk each visit and watch a whole season. Large Flat screen TV is best. (We have 42 inch) We also have HDTV Satellite TV with over 350 Channels. Nice Wall Unit to hold TV (We had ours built) Nice to have storage space for Formostar, towels, sheets, blankets, and the heated pads in the room. Also we bought those small tables that you have in the hospital rooms, you know that have wheels, adjustable so they can put there water on them as well, mags, cell phones, remotes, etc. Deco the room nice, block out the top two feet if opened, darken the lights or dimmer if possible, a lamp is nice touch also. We spent over $6,000 just on the rooms and buildout. You also need and intercom, doorbell, even possible walkie talkies for the clients to call the front desk if they are having a problem. Most just want to be left alone. We have wired intercoms for them to push and it rings the phones up front and we can talk to them but a door bell is easy to do. |

I plan to have a 26" tv on the wall with cable and a dvd player. Not sure yet what kind of chair or bed. Is it best to keep it fairly warm in the room, meaning no extra cooling? |

| What, me worry? Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mad Magazine Posts: 210 | I have hired Esthetiticans for now, 5 total. It was kind of hard to find them but I did so I have two machines running in my place now. If you wall the room off and have it total closed in then have a air vent in the room and an intake out if possible. Also you need a fan for the clients. We offer a free room temp waters while they go through their session (room temp only, don't want to cool them down) they can drink as many as they want but most just drink one. At the end of the session when they leave we give them a free cold water. Also, we give each client a cold wet towel at the end, scented with Lemon extract. We keep these cool in a small wine cooler I found at Super Target. We also give out a small cup of 100% Pomagrant Juice as soon as the session is over and when they sit up from the bed. (full of antioxadiants) I am looking to add on a tea room or offer non-herbal hot green tea before starting each session. Warms up the body and gets their metabolism going with a jump start for better results. You need a lint brush also for the pads to get off hair and lint that will stick even after cleaning them. We just have a cute little chair in the room, we let husbands or one other person go in with them if they like. Children under 10 not allowed. Most clients like to rest and be left alone. Many sleep, most watch TV, others read or listen to their own I-pods. This thing knocks me out within the first 5 minutes then I always wake up with about 20 minutes to go. The last 20 minutes is the time that the heat has hit the deepest and now you are detoxing out. Those last 10 or even 5 minutes seems like hours to complete. Thats were the results are and thats why I like Formostar. Thermojet is too short of a session, you need the full 50 minutes for best results. 30 to warm up the whole body and the last 20 to detox them out and it is the most important part. The Gel packets are a must for each client. They are also making larger bottles of it soon. We sell a packet to each client per session. We have some amazing stories with pain relief already so market it to both weight and pain loss. This will open you market up for more clients. |

Single straight sheets from walmart $7.00 each Towels, the ones you have for your beds will do Towels to clean the chair/bed....same as what you use for your beds Get leather/vynil or it will absorb their sweat through the sheets and it will smell. Don't get a bed....it will remain wet with back to back customers and it'll be nasty. 27" LCD HDTV i bought for $399.00 __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. | What, me worry? Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mad Magazine Posts: 210 | There are water proof protector covers for mattresses and pillow liners that are 100% water proof, no sweat or oder into the mattresses. (same as bed wetters uses) The Mattress covers zip all the way around the mattress, not just on top. We pull the sheet, sanitized down the water proof protected cover then make the bed again. Fitted sheet are the same price as flat they just don't move around. You can go cheap or make your room nice depending on your own budget and what you are trying to do and charge in price. I make my girls go all out on each client and it has helped. They are paying big money and so we spoil them. I looked at other Formostar rooms before building mine and I did not like the flat massage tables as it is hard to watch TV, read or drink water while laying flat. Get at least a tilted Massage table. I even have a few clients bring in their laptops and work while getting it done. You need to have an upright postion for them. (not a big deal for the feet) I would have paid as much for tilted massage tables as I did for the adjustable beds. Much nicer, wider, and have more comfort. We tried fleece, they don't hold up wash after wash plus too many fibers to deal with. Your laundry will triple or more. I had to buy the biggest washer and dryer on the market. The higher the tread count on your linen the longer it will last. I guess it depends how many sessions you do per day at your location. We do use the same towels as in tanning. |

| Hall of Famer | Don't listen to DIN with his chair idea. In order to wrap someone easy they need to be flat. Lounge chairs even though they are comfortable for the customer will make your life a living hell (or whomever is doing the wrapping) |

| Moderator Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: south east Posts: 1,581 | My understanding, and I am still learning, is you apply the gel prior to the session. That way the heat from the session helps the gel penetrate deeper and gets to the fat and toxins. By doing so it helps gets rid of more of the fat and toxins. |

| What, me worry? Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mad Magazine Posts: 210 | The Gel is AMAZING! Yes, apply it right before each session. My wife who spends tons of money at Dillards, Macy's etc on beauty products it totally blow away by the gel, not just for the session but even for home use. She puts it on after a shower. It will tighten, smooth and tone the body. She says she could throw everything in her bathroom and just use the gel. Her stretch marks after 4 kids are gone after about 6 sessions in the Infrared. (I think the gel had something to do with it) Larger bottles are best but the packets are a must for each session and client. The packets look the same as Designer Skin packets and look great. They just need to start making more large 19 oz bottles. I sell the packets for $10 per session and the bottles for $119.00 (my wifes say she would pay $200.00 or more for a bottle of this stuff) Thanks to my staff we even have young girls in their early 20's buying it and applying it to their legs before going out to the Clubs dancing. It makes their legs look great. Not to spam here, if you don't know how to get the Formostar Packets or Gels PM me. |

| What, me worry? Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mad Magazine Posts: 210 | The packets are well done and look great. I would have to take a picture of one I guess. Contact Alison for info on that. The bottles are ugly and have no lables. I wrap them with the info sheet of ingredients I posted above (on pink paper) They are working on the bottles but have tons of packets on hand for sell. I don't think you need to buy any set amounts so just contact them. |

And testers sold in 1oz mini bottles. Or 1/2oz plastic jars. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. | Moderator Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: south east Posts: 1,581 | Still sitting up my room. Everything will work better if I could put the "bed" or "chaise" up againist the wall. The Formostar video says you need to get to both sides of the person to properly wrap them. but after doing several times now ourselves, I don't see why you can't wrap from just one side. It's not as easy, but we can do it. Anyone else have their bed/table/chaise againist the wall? |
