| What, me worry? Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mad Magazine Posts: 210 | I was lucky and found the bed on the Internet in the classifieds section on our local TV station web site. The other two beds I have found did not have the Vib or wave action, just adjustable. The mattress is cloth but I found zipper vinyl covers on the Internet pretty cheap, I think 12 of them for around $75.00. They last pretty long, perhaps you have to replace them every 6 to 8 weeks but you just spray them down after each session. Let me know if you need the Internet site for those, I don't have it now but can get it posted later. |

| Hall of Famer | I'm going to work on pricing tonight I heard some people are successful with doing a membership, charge 100 up front, give them a session then they get discounted sessions from there on, maybe at 45-50 bucks. This should get them to use it more often as they feel like they are getting more out of it. I think i'm going to offer that and fixed sessions. with the largest package at 50 a session? I know they say you can charge a lot more, but i'm still skeptical For an intro I like you idea, I can also give 2 sessions for the first time with the membership. | Hall of Famer | Mike....don't be skeptical. I tell you what. It's easy to go down in price than to raise them. Having said that I suggest you price it at the highest possible price you think you can get---nevermind--- go higher than what you think you can get. No one is going to be buying at those prices in the begining since you will have intro specials... test the waters that way....if you see noone bites at the $80 or more single, lower it.....but you will never know what ppl will be willing to pay if you start low. Just a though. |

We sold a bunch and it got to where people couldn't get in to do the wrap. We were book solid every night. People were complaining. Now we're back at regular price. Not seeing as many people, but still making more money. Plus customers can get in more easier than before, plus staff not as busy wrapping people. It only takes 4 or 5 wraps a night to fill up the schedule. It's not like having 10 to 20 tanning units. Plus the staff has to spend more time with the wraps. Having back to back to back wraps will keep you hopping. So don't worry about charging too much. You will still make good $$$ even if you don't do alot of wraps. |
