Did anyone attend the Cosmoprof show in Italy? How was it? Anything groundbreaking in skincare or tanning?

I went nothing new in the tanning world. Alot of new companies trying to get into the states that do skin care.

The best one I saw was Ten-zen 100% all natural and the ceo/owner is known through out the world. Smart man and great product.

Hair was mostly the biggest thing there (Loreal Professional and Matrix had very big shows), makeup came in a close 2nd. No new HP's. New tanning software might be coming to the states. Old in Italy and everywhere else but never used in the states.

Facial units were the biggest thing in tanning there. Megasun saying there going to open a plant in the states (but that could mean anything).

Large crowds, but only on the days the public was allowed to come in and buy new product for 60% off. Alot was just taking samples.

Hydration Station was out there with mixed thoughts from people maybe because they had a USA rep there who was talking.

Ergoline (they just had the Sun Line Group show there beds),Hapro,Ultrasun were small the Italian companies were bigger Eversun,Sportarredo,Iso.

Oh and a company had the softest towels I had ever felt in my life.

Paris Hilton's company got no love out there Paris tired to come out to get people talking that didnt work.

If you were going out to get some new import products it was a great show. Alot of people were hungry and were given great deals if you would sell there product. I made alot of good relationships over there have alot of samples still from the trip.

Next big show for make-up, hair, and skin care is in Turkey, then Milan.

Yes, I met him a couple of times. Small world. Not a very common last name. And my husband looks more Irish than Italian! LOL

no big news in tanning, the only one is many manufacturers are moving to Electronic ballasts due the new European tanning law.

Widest beauty equipment used right now are:

- Pulsed light (IPL). Lot of units made in Italy and price is very affordable right now


- Cavitation Ultrasound, is the newest thing and is growing popularity very fast here in italy.
