I can clean the booth manually without the rinse cycle. Only problem is resetting the tmax.

From speaking with other owners and searching the internet, I have decided to start with a Mobile System. I have read lots of reports saying that you get better bang for your buck and better systems buying Paint Gun / Air Compress / Turbines from Home Depot.

For anyone who uses a Mobile or Spray Gun, please let me know your thoughts. I see that they have like Solo Mist machines on Ebay which look like re-packaged Paint ones.

Thanks,

The tanning salon I managed recently merged with Spa, now I am the only only tanning employee left! I have been scheduled on weekends when Technical support times are over, and it's been to hectic to ask the other employees I'm training to help-

Somewhere along the way, the t-max stopped recognizing the Versa Spa, I'm not sure if it has something to do with Salon Touch or the T-max, but we've been temporarly entering clients in manually through the t-max in Versa Spa room.

We have this client who likes to spray twice- so of course we charge her for 2, unfortunately she watched one of the girls set her up and has now been entering herself in for the second spray and not paying. The girls keep letting this happen and tell me about it later so can someone PLEASE either give me some tips on how to fix the problem with the Versa Spa/Salon Touch/T-Max or explain how to add clients in using the LCD screen so the t-max won't work when she tries to enter herself in again.

I thought I'd post since we just got HVLP in our salon a couple of weeks ago.

We bought the American Turbine unit from artesiantan.com. It was a tough choice between that unit and the MaxiMist Pro. We decided to give the former a try because it looked like it was built well and have a nice gun.

I can't compare it to other units since this is the only one we've used, but it seems to work pretty well, and the noise level doesn't sound unreasonable (about what I would expect from a decent turbine unit). My only complaint is the rigidness of the "industrial" hose that comes with it, but that may be easily remedied (it's not really a big deal anyway, to me).

For solutions, I read reviews from here and the other site. I ended up getting samples of Sol Potion and SJolie. We ended up going with SJolie... The color is amazing! (Better than the Mystic solution we use in our Innovation booth, IMO, which is decent)

I thought the SJolie solution had better color and didn't rub off as easily as the Sol Potion. Sol Potion gave decent color, but it had a much more "red" base to it. We liked the "ash" base of the SJolie product better. The additives are pretty neat too, but we haven't gotten into them yet. I did like some of Sol Potions retail and marketing offerings, but in the end, it's about the solution.

I'm not sure that this post will be that useful to anyone, but I thought I'd post it in case there are other noobs out there like me that were curious.

Cheers!
