I may even market it as my Vitamin D plan. It would be 100 minutes only, base beds only, $.50 per minute, $5 minimum cost per session. I've got everything working except the $5 minimum part. Everything I try either does nothing or does some odd multiplication to come up with an outrageous amount. Step pricing works sort of but not really what I want. So - can someone tell me how to do per-minute tans with a minimum (floor) price point?

I've gone to freeze a client's account & when I enter the code it says "there is no eft plan to freeze"...I click on their EFT tab, but it is blank, & the weirdest part is that they did get charged for the month. Oh, & it also happened to someone I was unfreezing.

I know that if you void a freeze or unfreeze on helios it will delete the eft info, but I know this isnt why this occurred because the last time this happened was on the 1st--our draft day--& it showed the client as being charged that day. It's almost like just entering the code is deleting info. It is the strangest thing, & when I called Helios they weren't even sure what happened.

Anyone know why this is happening? I've been a salon consultant - with a specialization in Helios - since 1989, so I very seldom need and/or use Helios' Tech Support. Maybe twice a year.

Anyway, I was at a client site today replacing a faulty Helios workstation. They could not locate their Helios 7 CD. I called Helios to ask about a V7 download. The call was answered within seconds and my issue was addressed and solved in less than 5 minutes.

There's a lot of Helios bashing on this site - some deserved (usually for issues long in the past). However, based on 20+ years experience dealing with the product and the company, the HUGE majority of what I see/hear out here is vastly overstated.

Once again, no big revelation here, just a comment about support that was (and usually is) timely, courteous and knowledgeable. Might as well acknowledge the postive and much as the negative.

Can anyone think of something I haven't?

I sell my Basic EFT for $19 monthly with half priced upgrades. There are also higher priced EFT versions for each level of upgrade bed that allow unlimited tanning in that bed. Those are the memberships that I want to sell more of. I want to run a special that offers 5 free upgrades with enrollment in the basic $19 plan. That would allow them to try the 5 other levels in that first month and hopefully upgrade their basic $19 plan to one of the higher priced ones.

I know how to make a code that would place 5 upgrades into an accumulator and I know how to make a code that would deduct from that accumulator. I don't know if there is a way to limit the use of the upgrades to one of each level bed or will I have to make 5 separate codes that are limited to one time use? If it was just me working all the time I would just pay attention but since I have multiple locations and a large staff I try to idiot proof my codes whenever possible. When you have to start a bed to take UV readings or to trouble shoot a repair.

I'd like to be able to seperate these from the customer count, so the PPA reflect only tans by customers . And not "test" tans too.

It'd be awesome to have these "test" starts not show up in the customer count. I definitely need to do this, because EVERYTIME i try to use my fingerprint....it goes to someone else! I've tried resetting all of my prints, and clearing the clients prints (that is pulled up under my print).....No luck either way!

Anybody know how to swipe the fingerprints that are stored in Salontouch?
