Can anyone tell me approximately when a certain Sundash 240 was manufactured? Its the model that says "SUPERSUNDASH" across the front with no other stickers on it. The unit is black with the blue and looks just like the 2002-2004 models but the sticker is just a very basic sticker unlike the chrome/yellow/orange "Sundash" and "Performance 240" on the 02-04 models.

I know, I can probably get the serial number or look at the back to find out when it was manufactured, but, the guy I am possibly buying it from says its only 4-5 years old but hasn't given me the serial number yet(slow to respond, and, its going to be a while before he will be able tp check the unit). It only has 300 hours on it and if it really is only 4 or so years old I am thinking of replacing one of my higher hour units.

A couple quick questions though on these beds.

What is the deal with the tape or whatever it is on the metal reflector under the acrylic at the edge of the beds. Looks really shabby and cant be cleaned off. You can see it through the acrylics. Is this tape or whatever it is supposed to be there?

Also, what is the deal with the lamps in the bench not going all the way to the front and back of the bench. Looks like the bed is missing a lamp in the frot and rear of the bench. What is with that design? Thought that was really weird. UWE trying to save money?

The worst thing is the metal under the acrylic at the edges that look so trashy. Do they all look like that? Need a bit more info on HP facials. I have done some searches and reading but not quite sure on the EXACT difference on all the HP facial systems and which is preferred.

There is the "blue glass" VIT max facials, Ultra performance glass facials etc etc.... (prob more and some of those are trade marked)

Looking for some new beds (only had base beds until now) so what should I look for in facials? what is better and why?

All help is appreciated as I have big ($$$) decisions to make for my bed line-up.


I know Pro-Sun X7 have the blue glass, what does the sportarredo LP3 have (does not specify in tech specs)
