Default Finally bought a meter

Well I ordered it today from ITBG, should be here by Thursday. Not sure why I finally broke down to buy one now, but I guess it's only $109, not a huge investment. I should have done it years ago.

Now I just need to figure out how to use the damn thing... Hopefully there are instructions with it.

Not if ITBG got it off eBay or something.

They didn't get it from me. I make them - in case you didn't know.

Read the FAQ page on Welcome to Solartech and the IST article link for your "instructions". Or just the 5.0 page on solarmeter.com. Jeepers.

BTW - selling a new 5.0 meter for $109 is kinda stupid... because that's barely above what we charge distributors for buying a couple dozen of them. If somebody is happy with a 10% profit then so-be-it. But hard to believe.

You might want to ask what serial # it is. New ones are up near 16830 and have tan (not black) colored labels.... fyi. The "normal" distributor price is close to the msrp of $159.

ITBG gets them from either Future or CTS, I requested shipment from Future as they are closer to me.

You should be fine then.... both have received batch of meters in recent months. Have fun pointing at your lamps!
