| ok Stevorino....I got 2 5.0 meters...one old era and one new with no decimal pt. both meters are pretty close to each other and neither has ever been "screwed" (like my old meter which I lost but boy was that a good screw) Anyway...they are both close in readings..but I just dropped off some lamps at a salon and was showing him the 7.0 meter and he pulled out his 5.0 and he was getting 49 mills on an elixer and I was getting 44. My 7.0 said he had 4 meds in 17 mins (Auvl lamps) so even with uva in the 40's...the bed tans like krap. And since I got my 7 reading so low, I figure my 44 is more likely. Question...10 percent difference between meters isn't the end of the world..but in this case...49 mills on his meter made him think he was all good....when in reality, his lamps are duds. Also, his meter was only about 3 percent different from mine on a 25 mill base bed but incrementally got more outa whack as we went up in output. WAZZUP |
