Thank you...I hope my work helps you all even just a little bit...I started from scratch and came up the hard way...so anything I can do so you all can focus on getting on with it and not having to linger for things...then it makes it all worth it to me...

Hello all! I am a newbie in every sense of the word. I think I may have tanned 6-10 times when I was in high school and the first couple years of college. I am a marketing person helping a friend out with her dream. She has just been given a tanning salon and I have been hired to help.
Soo, your message was powerfully helpful and had all of the right elements. Education and product knowledge are the basis of all profitable sales no matter what you are selling. Combine that with customer service and you are unstoppable.
Alan, you said you would like the product list so you could post it...where would that be? If it is not posted yet, I would love a copy since I am starting bare-bones!
I love this site and I am so glad I found it. If any of you have basic info that you think start-ups often neglect, I would love it if you would share it with me.

Soo, for some reason when I recieved the mail, it showed as if i have an attachment but with nothing there?!?!? Please send again, if you don't mind, I would SOOO appreciate it

I am going to be opening my salon on March 15th and I would love to use it in connection with my training procedures for my new employees.

We have already started our marketing and advertising however, does anyone have any advice on package specials for our first month that include a free lotion or percentage off?? Any ideas to get people in our doors is greatly appreciated.

Soo, I gotta tell you I have learned so much from you in the few short weeks I have been on this site.

We are so lucky to have you here.

And not to bring up a touchy subject.... but I have a shooters bar. I put about 10 different lotions on a nice tray with cups, NO LIDS. Customers love it, they can fill the cups all the way to the top, but with no lids most use it that one session. It has worked out really well for everyone. I charge $5.00, never get any complaints.
Just a reminder: our sign reads, get creative, mix it up, however some lotions are tingle (HOT), some are bronzers so please seek the advise from the tanning techs. Tech's then advise about what a tingle is and how it works, that bronzers can streak, use with care and clean hands after applying.
Our customers love it, and we have sold soo many more cups than packetts this way.

If you don't mind may I please have a copy of your ingredient list too?

And thanks for the kind words... I want to come up and meet you in person and see your salon....as soon as I get 45 minutes to drive to your salon I will...now some dumb doctor thinks I need 2 hip replacements...one after the other......so I will be doing a lot of writing of training material and so on...so keep an eye out...

Maybe I will invent the first cuppette dispensor like the old Coke machines where the little cup comes down when you put in your $$ and then hit a button and .67 ounce of your favorite lotion drops in..( if it works like the one we used to have in school...u better have your second option ready to catch your pop because the cup is stuck somewhere else besides the dispensor) LOLOLOL

Where's PINK?? When I come up with this crap...She needs to rip me one...I hope her salon is rockin also....
